Guqin Solo by 7’s Art

Quqin is a plucked seven-string Chinese musical instrument. It has been played since ancient times. With the story behind each piece, the music offers people a lens to look beyond the time we can live to observe the current life.
Playing Guqin is traditionally regarded as a self-cultivation for the body, mind, and soul. Many pieces have the name from the element reflecting the joys people get from nature, like "Flowing Water", and "Wild Geese Descending On The Sandbank“. The playing techniques and the name of the instrument parts also have much inspiration from nature. They imply significant observations and connections between nature and ourselves through this instrument.
