Puerh Leaf Drawing by Aki Kano 2019. Silent Auction Piece at Spring Blossom Party

From mountain villages in Yunnan, to rooftops of New York, from bazaars in Kabul to the beaches in Piha, we can talk to each other with a tap of the finger. Our lives can seem so similar and tied so closely, yet divisions and tensions are more prominent. How do we make true and meaningful connections in the fast-changing world?

Tea is an ancient and proven activity for creating space and time, reflection and connection. A coveted beverage, at once for the ordinary and extraordinary, that has spread around the world, and woven itself into the kaleidoscope of human life.

Support our first-ever fundraiser to continue our work in 2022!

All of the items are donated from our beloved communities. We would love you to carry on those stories and continue building more connections through this exchange.

A gift card from your business, a space you can offer, a workshop, or a food tour for your neighborhood. It is endless. We encourage you to share what speaks to you and what you love the most with our community while you support our work.
