Ode to Neighbors

Join Eleanor Lee for tea at Hill Street Garden in Staten Island.

This year, everyone is invited to come together for a tea ceremony, share thoughts, and write short poems or odes on beautiful handmade paper about neighbors and what they mean to each of us.

The gathering features Odes to Common Things poetry writing led by Robin Lampman.

FREE event! All are welcome!

About the Garden:

It is the hub of the neighborhood providing not only a beautiful greenspace for plants, herbs, vegetables, trees, and flowers but environmental, economic, and social benefits for its diverse community. Individual gardeners and other community organizations collaborate on many projects including the newest – a greenhouse in the garden!
