Hands-on Masala Chai Making Workshop
Join Takiyah Gray for a Masala Chai making workshop at Jerome Glenmore Cornerstone Community Garden in Brooklyn.
In this hands-on workshop, participants learn about the history and rise of popularity in chai in India while making a vegan chai for everyone to enjoy. We begin by connecting our senses with the herbs and spices used to make the tea. Together we together create a fragrant masala mix that gets added to our pot. As the chai boils, we sample a loose leaf Indian tea while discussing the history and the medicinal properties of the spices.
Hope to see you and connect in community.
FREE event! All are welcome!
