Join us with Prospect Park Alliance for a full-day gathering in the park to steep and sip tea together with arts and music and share our appreciation of nature. Embark on a journey to learn about tea and have an engaging experience connecting with the diverse cultures and communities around us.
10-11 am
Nature Walk:
Led by the Prospect Park Alliance staff, we will start from the Boathouse to have a walk through the trails around and learn about the nature surroundings of the park.
Morning Yoga:
Enmy Uribe from Tea Arts and Culture will lead us in a gentle Yoga session to ground and connect us to our bodies in constant motion. Bring your own Mat.
Heart Sutra Collectives:
Join artist Ines Sun for morning calligraphy writing to connect to your mind and body. No prior experience will be required.
11 - 12 pm
Morning Tea Ceremony
Participants can choose to sit down with tea to be more in tune with nature and themselves. Led by Erika Houle and Kristina Clark.
12 - 1pm
Lunch and Tea
Bring your own lunch or pre-order a lunch.

1 - 4 pm
Community Tea Circles
A curated experience for the participants to join the extensive tea circles created by various communities from different cultures, including Tea Tasting Table by New York Tea Society, Ice Teas from Local Community Gardens, Chinese Tea Ceremony with Mengyan Gong, East Frisian tea with Benjamin Schultz, Qahwa with Fifa Atef and many of our wonderful friends and community members. Art and music will be incorporated into the whole experience.
