Golden Tea Program

Golden Tea offers tea experiences for older adults that are socially engaging, culturally enriching, and multisensory.

We partner with senior centers around NYC to address the isolation, disconnection, and fear many seniors experienced during COVID, and continue to face to this day. We provide a series of tea sessions including opportunities for conversations, storytelling, and enriching learning experiences.

Email GoldenTea@teaartsculture.org to bring tea to your senior community and/or to bring a loved one to to a Golden Tea event.

Golden Tea

We believe everyone has a story to share and it is our delight to listen and to treasure each story through the moments of tea.

“… I am glad to meet so many of my neighbors. We all live in the same building and this activity makes us closer to each other. These tea gatherings passed by too fast. I look forward to this every week even though I am very busy. “

- Program Participant, 2023

“Sharing stories gave me a sense of community and support."

- Nathalie Martinez from Smith NORC, 2024
