Mentorship Program
Our Mentorship Program trains community gardeners from NYC GreenThumbs in the art of tea so they in turn can share tea in their gardens through our Community Engagement Tea.
Our goal is to make the knowledge of tea accessible to local community members so they can bring tea to support their local communities and the causes they care about.
We believe that sharing the beauty and knowledge of tea can foster activism, interconnectedness, and mutual support.
3 cohorts of 8-10 mentees trained
Mentees represent diverse communities ranging from East Harlem to East New York, Jamaica, Queens to the South Bronx
